Damper 331.00.000, 331.00.000-02
331.00.000 damper (or advanced 331.00.000-02) was originally designed for use in passenger car bogies. Prototypes mounted on passenger cars of Moscow-Vladivostok and Moscow-Vorkuta trains successfully underwent entire rig and ride tests.
These dampers have been in series production since 1996. They are of use in any overhaul and routine repairs of electric/diesel train cars as well as in new electric train cars manufactured by Demikhovsky Engineering Plant and Tsentrosvarmash (Tver). This type of dampers does not require any retrofits and can be mounted on bogies of passenger, postal and luggage cars and on those of VL80 and VL65 electric locomotives produced by Novocherkassk Locomotive Plant.
